Currently seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Dispatcher to support our growing service team in the Sparks/Reno area. The Dispatcher plays a key role in coordinating daily schedules, communicating with technicians and customers, and ensuring service calls are handled efficiently and professionally.

Who/What Are We Looking For?

• Coordinate and manage daily dispatch and routing of service technicians

• Monitor and adjust technician schedules throughout the day based on call volume and operational needs

• Track technician start times, departure times, and route progress

• Maintain scheduling matrices including technician locations, specialty tools, certifications, and skill sets to ensure proper job assignments

• Communicate regularly with technicians to support daily operations and resolve scheduling issues

• Anticipate routing, scheduling, and parts-related challenges and make timely operational decisions

• Respond to customer requests and service-related concerns in a professional and timely manner

• Order and track parts for special-order and pending jobs

• Maintain technician vacation, sick leave, on-call, and weekend schedules

• Follow up on pending and recommended work to ensure completion and customer satisfaction

• Forecast workload and staffing needs 2–3 days in advance

• Communicate with customers regarding pending parts, scheduling updates, and job status information

Qualifications:

• Previous dispatching, scheduling, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
• Experience in plumbing, HVAC, home services, or construction industries is a plus
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to remain organized and calm in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling/dispatch software
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Reliable, team-oriented, and customer-focused mindset

PAY TRANSPARENCY: 

The hourly pay opportunity for this role ranges from $22-$24/hr. The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility. 

We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). A candidate’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate for this position. It assumes a rate based on location and experience.
